Athletes then head out for another 5.5 miles to the Village of Middleport, where they will reach a third aid station and turn-around. Runners leave the marina and run along a paved trail for approximately 1 mile before crossing the canal on one of Lockport's historic draw bridges and then run along the historic Erie Canal Towpath.Īthletes will run approximately 6 miles to another fully stocked aid station and a chance to get out of the sun. Runners start at Wide Water’s Marina where you'll have access to showers, restrooms and our fully stocked aid station.
